Last week, I used this space to give everyone on the Internet my opinion about pie. Among my main points were that I enjoy pie and that pie is delicious. Well, I was expecting some harsh criticism in response to my controversial position on this hot-button issue, and it has finally arrived. BlogReader82 writes: "How dare you say that you enjoy pie?? This is an outrage! I am ashamed for you and ashamed for our country! What's worse, you then have the gall to say that pie is delicious?!? Where do you get off saying such ludicrous things?"

Well, BlogReader82, I certainly did not mean any offense. I was simply stating my own personal opinion of pie. While your arguments are totally valid, I must respectfully disagree with your position. I do enjoy pie, and I do think it is delicious.
